Question

Windows 10/Chrome/New Tab

Apr 22, 2017 7:00AM PDT

New PC running W10. I use Chrome.
See link for video of what happens when I click on the "menu" tab of a restaurant. This happens on many sites where I click on a tab that opens a new link. I'm guessing it has something to do with opening a link that has a PDF. Just a guess.

I have to X out and then "cancel download."

Did you try other browsers? Once in a while a PC user gets stuck on one browser when another works.

Time to talk to the site owner.

Tell them Chrome doesn't work.

It's not just one site.

Chrome is like that.

You can see this issue all over. You can dive into oddities like this and drown or go with what works.

Chrome in recent versions seems to be breaking more sites. My thought on this is that security must win over function.
