Question

windows 10 will not boot wifi automatically

Mar 19, 2016 8:44AM PDT

I updated windows 7 to 10. Now I have to manually put my wifi password in on reboot or start. I googled the problem and tried various fixes but no luck. Anyone know a fix?

In my cases (have an office with many machines) it was in need of a driver from the laptop maker.

Here's what I see happen a lot. The OS updates but folk don't know or struggle with drivers.

I did a Windows 10 refresh and the wifi seems to be working. I rebooted and it automatically turned on. Lucky me that I didn't have a lot of programs to reinstall Happy

I went to dell, put in my service tag and there were Windows 10 drivers for a few things.

All good now.
