Question

Windows 10 & TV Tuner.

Sep 15, 2015 11:10PM PDT

I have downloaded Windows Media Centre onto Windows 10. Everything is functional except that it doesn't recognise the AverMedia TV tuner. The tuner worked fine on Windows 7 also on Windows 10 with ArcSoft Total Media, [sadly now defunct]. Does anyone know what I'm missing here ? Please advise. Thanks.

Hi, would LOVE to install WMC on my Win10 machine. How were you able to do it? Any help would be HUGE! Thanks!

Just checked on my Win 10 laptop.

I clicked start>all apps and scrolled down to WMP. I didn't have to download it.

Bingo !!!!......Thank you so much. I downloaded the latest relevant update from "Compatibility Mode" & the tuner now works brilliantly with all it's functions independently of Windows Media Centre. Maybe this will help a lot of other people who are a little bit disillusioned with Windows 10 !
