This may not apply in your case, but are you using Avira, Sophos, Avast, or ArcaBit antivirus programs? If so, then read the Microsoft knowledge-base link below for Windows 10 and ArcaBit:

If you're transferring files to a Win7 machine, the computers can become non-responsive and network issues are mentioned...and that could be causing the inability to transfer large files.

Hi,
I've been using this way for some time and most of the time it worked fine.
lately when I'm trying to transfer files from one shared folder to another on my local network the files won't get transfered and it stucks on 0% forever. (maybe a recent update is the cause?)
I should point out that transfering small size files works fine on both sides...
Any idea?
