Question

Windows 10 major problem.

Apr 30, 2018 7:46PM PDT

Hey! So I just got a new dell windows 10 pc and tried to use it. It worked fine for the first 4 mins, but then the blue screen of death poped up. I tried to reset windows using the windows rest function under recovery, but I said that reset failed and then I pressed restart. However, as I restarted my computer, it would load the dell bar, but then shut down and turn on itself. It would then repeat this process until I force shutdown.
I tried doing some home troubleshooting like switching and putting back the RAM sticks, but that didn’t fix the problem. I then tried the dell diagnostic, but it told me all tests worked and to proceeded to reboot. However, the dell load would complete, computer would shut down and repeat again.
Do you guys have any suggestions or know what’s going on?

Answer
My thought on this.

Is when I get a new PC that's DOA, it goes back. I do not consider letting them repair it. It's a mass produced model and I don't want a lemon.

Thank you.

Although this may have not directly answered my question, I did some more research, and I will try to clean install windows 10. If this does not work, I will follow your steps and refund my item.

Once again, thank you.

I wouldn't touch it and would take it back

immediately. If you go over th 30 days you will have no option but to have the same device fixed. If it were me I would have been back to the store immediately after the failure and switching it out for the same device.
