Question

Windows 10 login icon hacked?

Apr 26, 2016 9:03AM PDT

My mom is running Windows 10 on her computer and yesterday when the computer first booted up to the login screen...the icon picture had been changed to a picture of some lady with large breasts.

Now mind you, her WiFi connection is secure...no one else has access to her computer...no one else has used her computer. There is no one else in the house that could have done this.

She ran a Malware scan and McAfee scan, both showed nothing.

I am confused as to how this could have happened?

Can anyone shed some light on this?

account to login then picture can be changed form any computer that has the username and password for that account. Thats why if ytou login to multiple computer with the same MS username the wallpaper and lock screens are the same if you set it up that way.

It's one of the 2:
- it's done on another PC that uses her Microsoft account (can be done if you know the e-mailadress and the password)
- it's done my malware she downloaded on her own PC - it's rather easy to click a link to a porn site, even if you don't intend to

The second option seems more likely to me.
