Question

Windows 10 laptop screen problem

Oct 6, 2018 6:54AM PDT

Hey all, hope you doing well.

I recently encountered a problem with my laptop screen. When i press the right button of my mouse on something, a part of the window it opened get stuck on my screen. As shown on the image underneath, i pressed the right button on the Recycle bin icon and the the "Empty recycle bin" message is stuck on my screen.

My graphic driver is up to date and the only solution i found is to restart my computer. Thanks in advance.

That screen shot doesn't tell much.

Try System Restore to when it worked.

Also, there's a big Windows update very soon now so this issue may clear up as that happens.

System Restore should only affect Windows files.

So YES you do lose files. This is how it works. Maybe that wasn't the right question. Maybe you are worried about YOUR FILES and not all files that belong to the Windows OS?

-> Even if it did, PCs are pretty terrible at file retention. Backups of what we can't lose has never been optional and that new Windows update is getting reports of file loss. So again, "We only lose what we don't backup."
