Windows 10 laptop does not recognize USB headset

by sikiemod / December 30, 2015 7:24 AM PST

So hello, I bought 'pro gaming headset' G2000 on the ebay and it does not work using USB, because i have laptop i need both mic and heaphones to work but i can only do that by pluging in the USB slot, cause my laptop has only 1 jack and the headphones has 2 seperate jacks for mic and heaphones. When i use the jack, it works but when i plug it in the USB it does not even appear on my audio or playback devices.

Did you download and install a Windows 10 driver for the headset? That could very well be necessary. What do the use manual and the shop say about that?

Looking at the reviews. "USB is for lights only."

There is no reason for Windows 10 to see these headsets at all. And because of how Windows works, there would be no change in audio or playback devices.

It's a shame the seller didn't tell you this.
