It's either the SSD that is to blame or the motherboard. Since replacing an SSD is easier than replacing a motherboard, that would be the first thing I'd do.
If you have or can use another PC, it might be a good idea to first get out the SSD, put it in an external enclosure and run the makers diagnostics.
I was watching YouTube and suddenly my pc just freezes I could move the mouse and tried to get into the task manager but wouldn’t load. So after that I turn off my pc then back on and then everything loaded past the bios screen but the insert a bootable device came up. I tried turning it on and off again same thing so next time I went into the bios to check what device it’s booting off and it wasn’t on the correct one so swapped it to the right ssd and booted up. After that mishap I downloaded the windows update and then restarted it and now my pc just boots up to install a bootable device everytime I restart/turn it on so I have to manually go into by bios and change it to the correct ssd....I’m not sure what has caused it to change my boot device but even when I save and exit it doesn’t save me putting the correct ssd as the boot drive. Anyone else had same issue or knows how to fix it?
