Windows 10 is unstable OS

Nov 19, 2015 12:46PM PST

Windows 10 is completely unstable. Upgrades change computer systems. Windows is causing frequent random freezes. They came out with the upgrades and did not even have 64 bit in place when they started.

There a some 100 million happy users of Windows 10 and there are some that aren't happy with it. They go back to where they came from (Windows 7 or 8.1) and are happy again. And if they buy a Windows 10 machine in a few years they will be happy also.

So everybody is happy all the time.

Did you check for compatibility before installing?
Nov 19, 2015 1:23PM PST

I have some gripes about Windows 10, but I have to say it's been stable on my two home PCs for the last 13 months and on another one I support. One's a HP desktop, one's a Dell desktop, and the other is a home built desktop with Biostar mobo & AMD processor.
`
Things I don't like are Edge, Cortana, and the crAPPs, but I don't have to use them fortunately. I don't like the way they hid IE, but had no trouble getting it on the taskbar.
`
What kind of computer do you have Windows 10 on? Was it an upgrade from an earlier system? Did you check to see if it was compatible before installing? Why haven't you gone back to an earlier version of Windows?

Opposite of what's happening at the office.

We have about a dozen upgrades for the office done and no freezes. I'd get into details about your PC to see if what's up can be found. Then again you will encounter clients that want to believe it's Windows 10.

64 bit has been in place since Vista. Like almost 10 years)

Now your OEM drivers may not be 64 bit but MS has nothing to do with that.
