Windows 10 installation

I have a windows 10 window on my windows 8 toolbar. When I click on it , I get a blank screen with a "please wait" message. Then I get nothing more. Any hints as to how I might get windows 10 to download?

Keep in mind

That there are many articles how to make an install DVD, USB today and not wait. I used an article like that on another PC with good results.

go to microsoft web page

You can go to Microsoft web page and download it from there, remember that you need to have a valid windows 8 installation and also you need to upgrade windows 8 to windows 8.2 first before installing windows 10.

windows 10 upgrade

Alph10 says that I must upgrade to windows 8.2 before I can upgrade to windows 10. I can't find windows 8.2. Is he pulling my leg?
