Windows 10 Files Explorer

Please help me solve my problem. I am using Windows 10 Lenovo laptop. I have use task manager and clicked on windows file explorer which was running on background. I clicked "end task" the screen went blank. All the desktop and start menu is hiding. What would I do to restore it?

1. Open Task manager (Cntl-Alt_Delete), 
2. Click Process tab, 
3. Find Explorer.exe (or explorer.exe). 
4. Terminate it. (ignore warning) 
5. Click File tab 
6. Open The New Task. 
7. Enter explorer.exe and press enter 

Check your desktop icons and start menu items

Be careful with that as

you have Windows Explorer which is the Windows GUI (taskbar, desktop and shortcuts) and you have File explorer. If you end Windows explorer your desktop will go blank. If you end File explorer the file explorer will close.
