- What's the relation between the ONU and your problem.
- What message popped up exactly from what program? I've never seen a PC giving a message that the processor needs an update. Moreover, the AMD Radeon is a video processor.
- You updated the driver. What driver, and where did you find it?
- What's the relation between the printer cable and the error?
- It finished loading what? You don't tell about you (or it) starting loading something.
- What exactly is "The BSOD is still there." It's quite normal it stays on the screen if you do nothing.

My guess: you installed a wrong driver. In that case, a driver rollback is the solution. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/restore-driver-previous-version#1TC=windows-7 tells how.
