Always check your date and time. If that's good then use your school's IT support as they see this all the time.
My Windows 10 desktop is connected to the network but does have any internet access. All my other devices are fine and can be connected both wireless or with ethernet. My desktop is connected with ethernet and I have tried different cables with no difference.
I have tried everything including manually setting Dns and ip, restarting several times, updating internet drivers, uninstalling drivers and reinstalling, the winsock fix, removing proxies, disabling windows firewall.
Nothing worked so i opted to reset my desktop to factory setting and even then it still can't access the internet.
Other things to note are that the windows troubleshoot states, "The remote device or resource won't accept the connection."
and, "website (www.microsoft.com) is online but isn't responding to connection attempts." and i can ping the DNS but not the IP.
Also, I am connected to a college internet network.
Please help me resolve this issue.
