Windows 10 Configuration Issues

(Newbie/First Post)

When using Windows 10 how do I prevent/disable Windows 10 from automatically showing any (and all) of my currently installed pictures/images stored on my computer hard drive when simply asking Windows 10 a question or simply doing a search within the “Ask Me Anything” area in the bottom left corner of Windows 10?

So far I haven't found such a setting.

So maybe it's just a simple search system by MSFT and not as configurable as say "Everything" or another search tool.

I've seen folk complain about Windows Search for years. You can guess I don't use that.

You Could Try Disabling Cortana
by Grif Thomas Forum moderator / September 29, 2016 6:50 PM PDT

How to disable Cortana and leave the standard Windows Search line:

My Windows 10 Pro versions allowed me to disable it in the Group Policy Editor. Windows 10 Home users need to edit the registry or use the downloadable registry file to automatically make the change.

Hope this helps.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
