- "All drivers", that are all drivers and the BIOS from the Asrock site?
- Try without the wireless adapter; if you need Internet to install use an Ethernet cable.
- Does it shutdown if you boot from a Linux disc or stick (free to make)?
- Don't "optimize" until it works.
Windows 10 cannot shutdown or restart, the result is blank screen and all devices still power on.
I've build a new PC since 5 days before. I installed windows 10 (first time) and install all up-to-date driver, got a good performance PC to work and play.
A big problem is when I select shutdown or restart the PC, I got blank screen and PC cannot shutdown completely. The lights of all devices still on, all fans still run, I suspect that all devices still run.
After tried a ton of solutions, the issue hasn't been resolved, I installed new windows but the issue still exist.
I use the Safe Mode but it seems not to work, the shutdown screen freezes.
My PC system devices, all are very new because I just bought it:
- Windows 10 Professional 64 bit
- Core i5 8400.
- Motherboard Asrock B360 Pro4.
- Samsung 850 Evo 250GB 3D V-Nand - Sata3 SSD
- MSI GeForce GTX 1060 3GT OC
- G.SKILL NX - 8GB(8GBx1) DDR4 2400MHz
- PCI Express Adapter TL-WN881ND 300Mbps Wireless N
- Andyson 500W Computer Power Supply
I'v searched for many ways to fix the problems. All the thing I completed are:
- Disable "Fast boost" in Power Options and using "powercfg h off" in command line.
- Uncheck Intel Management Engine Interface option in Device Manager (tried with Disable/Uninstall but nothing happen).
- Updated all the lasted drivers, up-to-date windows 10.
- Reinstalled the other windows 10 version (which is very stable in my other computers).
- Clear all the cache, optimize windows with some software.
- Using safe mode but still can't.
- Access to BIOS to disable "Fast boost"
Could you help me to resolve this problem? I spend 3 days with non-sleeping this week and feel tired. Thank you.
