General discussion

windows 10 activation issu

First and foremost, some people are reporting difficulty activating Windows 10 once it’s installed. The bad news is there’s really nothing you can do on your end to fix it. The good news, however, is that this issue usually resolves itself after a few minutes.

What? No Problems Here..

And if I'm following your text correctly, activation resolves itself in a few minutes. Doesn't that mean it's not an issue? Was this an upgrade from Windows 7/8.1 or a new install? Something else? Are you referring to the "digital license" version or the "Product key" version? You might explain clearly what problem you're having.

And of course, should you have problems activating a legitimate copy of Windows 10, there ARE things you can "do on your end to fix it". Just a couple of links below give suggestions:

Hope this helps.

At the office and for others and for me, it's been flawless. I do help folk in this forum so my bet is that the office and home get high marks because we run a tight ship. As in no malware, cracks, torrents and such. The real world gets you a lot more troubles.

In parting, always create 2 (two) spare local login accounts. Make them admin capable and you'll be set for that rainy day (along with your usual backups.)
