Your post is full of "it doesn't work" but no machine details I can find.
I think that folk that just need it to work should go back to what worked for them.
Since upgraded to Windows 10 Pro I have had nothing but problems....serious problems. Two days after upgrade, I ended up with system being totally non responsive. Meaning, it would load but when I went to select an app or go to task bar, everything was non responsive. I left system alone to see what happened once hour glass stopped flipping...it said encountered a problem, collecting error information and restarting. Then it would go into diagnose/repair and come back, unable to repair. Then we get to advance options and nothing there worked and ended up to reset worked. Yeah..NOT
After encountering this same issue and having to reset only to have system to go back down the next day. Eventually it came to where not even reset would work and would not allow me to go back to previous version (7 pro).
So I thought maybe it had to do with the upgrade and possibly a clash somewhere...so I purchased Windows 10 Pro full version and did a clean install with no errors and thought it was going to work. Nope, two days later I was back to same thing. I did happen to get into safe mode and ran sfc/ scannow. It repaired corrupted files but one, opencl.dll was corrupted as well as one in the store. Left and restarted computer and had to rely on my disk to reset computer again.
I contacted Microsoft help through chat and the tech said that he couldn't really help me unless I purchased the Assure plan. After I told him I felt as though I was being held hostage due to the issue, I hung up only to purchase the Assure plan as I had no other option outside of purchasing a new computer.
After going round and round with Techs, I asked if the was a tech support in US and was told no. I talked with Irish and Chris from the Phillipines and Sheryl and Thomas I believe was told Indonesia. Well no help from any of them. They say call when I have the problem. I do and they o ly lead me to reset and once it is back up, they say they fixed it. I can not explain how highly upset I am with all of this. For over a month now, I have not been able to do work which I use to supplement my income.
