Download the full SP2 package to your computer from the link below and then install it.. (It's a large file, about 266 MB, so make sure you have a broadband connection.) If you can't download the file to your computer, then find a friend or family member with broadband and a CD burner, then download and burn it to CD, then transfer it to your machine.

If "Chkdsk" found problems, it's also possible that your hardrive is headed south.. Be sure to make backups NOW.
Hope this helps.

My other computer has windows xp and when it start to load instead of a place to sign on a password it reverts back to start up and starts all over again. I have tryed to go into safe mode but it will not and have run dskck and it found 2 problem but didn't fix it. Any one got any ideas and I have been tinkering with the idea of replace window xp and upgrading to Windows Vista and maybe I won't loose everything in the computer. Let me know if thats in feasable. Thanks Gene i also ran Norton Anti Virus and it showed no virus. Thanks for any help.
