Those messages, while interesting

Have never been the cause of the blue screen. That is, if DCOM failed to start a server/service, that's just a fail and not the BSOD cause.

I can't tell what caused it from these messages. Take a picture of the blue screen and post it on photobucket or such.

Be aware there is a Stop code that we can google for clues.

Finally, no make, model and story so without that, we may have to move to the old repair the PC and reload the OS. I like to avoid that but the 5 messages above would not cause a BSOD.

Let's guess there's a trojan/other infection.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
