If there is a lesson about corrupt profiles it is to figure out what software we used that corrupted it. Common titles are THEMES, torrents, registry cleaners and more.
I have Window7 Home Premium in my PC [Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB Ram, 250GB HDD]. One fine morning I find my user account "Admin" not opening. It says user profile could not be opened. I have one more user account with administrator facility. I opened PC that user account. I recovered the Admin profile as directed in help menu [fix a corrupt user account profile]. The I deleted the admin user Account from control Pannel. Rebooted the computer and created another user account named "Admin". Its working fine, but I find two user account is shown in C:/user, one as 'admin' and another as 'admin.xyz [My computer name].The 2nd one is active as I came to know when I downloaded something it is saved in "C:/User/Admin.xyz/My Documents/Download". I FIND ONE MORE MY DOCUMENT FOLDER UNDER "C:/User/Admin.xyz/My Documents. Another observation, When I install a software, after complete installation a message box appears, it says "the software may not be installed properly. Reinstalled with suggested configuration". when I click it whihin seconds, it says Installation completed.
