I am running a home network using a wired WIN7 pc, several wired XP pc's and a Cisco Valet Plus wireless router. I also use a WIN7 wireless laptop. The problem is the WIN7 pc's cannot see inside one XP PC's folders. Folders are visible and shared, but cannot open to see files. XP pc CAN see WIN7's shared folders contents, but not the other way. My Documents is shared on both PC's. Both PC's are on the same workgroup. The WIN7 pc is in a homegroup, but this doesn't apply to the XP pc. Interestingly, I have 2 other XP pc's on the network (setup the same way) and WIN7 CAN see and manipulate the contents of their MyDocuments shared folders.
I am really at a loss at how to fix this. Ideas? Thanks!
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
