win7/install/cd key

Hey all
Ok if I had a genuine version of win7 ultimate can I just buy a new cd key and use the disk to install onto my 2nd pc?

But is that a good deal? For example I found upgrade copies to cost less.

An upgrand less then just a key? mind if I ask where?

Details would be needed.

But for an example I went from Vista to 7 for less than a full 7 license key only.

What are you working with?

I have already WIN7 on my PC have had it awhile now (genuine copy)
ON my wifes PC I'm just reinstalling WIN-XP-PRO but before I get to far with it, I want to know if I can use my WIN7 CD to install on to hey PC? And if I buy just a serial key would it work IE: legal.

Cannot see anything that says second license discount.

I supplied the links for you to get your numbers down pat. Since Microsoft is to only provider of that second license and you can't buy it from Amazon or the like YOU GET TO CALL IN and ask.

I apologize I don't have a link for the second key discount. It may change but last time it wasn't much of a discount.
