Anohter issue is that you can't install drivers in any order you want. Some require the motherboard drivers first and so on.
That said, https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=dx8cm tells me this may be out of date.
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/intel-driver-support-assistant.html might be a better idea once you get online. For now try Ethernet.
-> Parting thought. Many Dells have you install a Dell app or press the keys at https://www.dell.com/support/article/en-us/sln115331/how-to-turn-the-wireless-devices-on-a-dell-notebook-on-and-off?lang=en
After doing a clean install with Windows 7 Pro on a Dell Optiplex 9020 I was not able to access the internet do to a network problem. Using a different computer I went to Dell and downloaded a number of drivers onto a thumb drive. When I tried to install them this is the message that came up.
“Intel Device Manager Diagnostics-Utility_DX8CM_WIN_22.3.108.0_AO4.EXE – Entry P…
The procedure entry point AddDllDirectory could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.” Any suggestions will be most helpful.
