Good morning.
I have been receiving these notification boxes that pop up quite frequently (greyish box) that say;

Stop what you are doing. We have found critical errors that need your immediate attention. Please type in this link and follow instructions. Something to do with it says to instal the registry, RUN the registry, and then REBOOT...Is this a something that is legit or could I may have something infecting my computer and if so, is there a site I can download that can fix this? I am not sure what the other box said exactly that pops up but it gives me a list of the infected software and the only one not on the list is Windows Millenium edition...Please help as I use my computer for my business and I also have kids who I do not want to click on this by mistake.

Thank you so much for any help that you provide. Have a great day.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
