Win XP wont boot!

Jan 12, 2006 10:40AM PST

2.8ghz P4 HT
1GB PC3200 RAM
120GB Seagate S-ATA
Asus P4P800-se
LG 8162B Dvd rom+ LG 4182B Dvd burner
350W PSU (generic)

Well, the PC is a lil over a year and a half old, and has ran problem free for three months since I replaced a defective hardrive. For some time, the computer has to boot 5-10 times over, each time showing the page where the system cannot boot, because of a potential hardware/software error. However, I checked, and no drivers appear to be defective, and I am wondering if this is a power supply error.

(NT) (NT) could be but more than likely it is a bad piece of RAM

I think I know what the problem is.

I sent in my hardrive (seagate S ATA 120gb) to the comp. shop, and they said they would send it back to the factory to get it replaced. For two weeks, the manager loaned a MAXTOR 120gb IDE hardrive, and there wasnt a problem. But when I receive the new S ATA hardrive, I get the same problems. Is there a solution to this prob, or should I just seek a new hardrive????
