Question

Win Vista freezes minutes after startup, works in safe mode

Oct 26, 2012 8:49PM PDT

I have a 32-bit Vista OS and since yesterday I havent been able to start it in the normal mode as it freezes minutes after startup and I have to force shutdown.

I have uninstalled a lot of programs which I downloaded in the last few days, ran memory diagnostic, tried to find a restore point, ran malwarebytes scan but unable to fix it. I did a clean start, with all non MS programs disabled but that didnt help. Is OS reinstall the only solution?
Please help.

Be sure to tell more. It could be simple heat issues that cleaning could help to other known things like the HP DV6000/9000 laptops to a gamer PC that needs work.
