Win Live Messenger

I don't want any Win Live stuff but Mail (even this is only because I have to with Win 7). When I selected only "Mail" to download, MSoft apparantly decided they knew better and downloaded all the Live stuff. How can I get rid of the pieces I don't want, or at the very least, how can I stop the #$%^& Live Messenger sign in window from ever appearing again?

If you want to get rid of them you can find the programs in the control panel under Windows Live Essentials.

You can also prevent WLM from opening at startup by following the instructions on the following link - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Optimize-Windows-Vista-for-better-performance#section_2
