I should have explained why I was asking. My mother-in-law click on a link that said free computer scan and now it is asking her to register the product so it can fix the hundreds of errors it found. I didn't want her to register anything until I found out if this was a legitimate program or not. I don't know if there is a problem. If it is a good program then maybe she should register it, but with so much spyware and malware out there I was just trying to be safe. Sorry for the confusion...

Her OS is Window XP Home Edition. And she browses with Internet Explorer 7.

I never heard of it nor would I bother with it.

Click on my user name to see the programs that I use. They are free and they work.

I checked Rogue/Suspect Anti-Spyware Products and didn't see Win Error Fixer 2007 but that doesn't mean it a safe product.

I've seen registry cleaners with the same tactic, they find problems and if you purchase their product the problems will disappear, think about it.

You could try the V&S FORUM,they might know something about this.
