I did it just last month on a PC that had run Windows XP. Worked fine.
Can you tell in more detail what you did and how you did it?
- downloaded all Win 10 installation files (Windows Tool)
- installing those files
if you do it right, that's all you need to do indeed.
I have installed Windows 7 Home on an e-machines E510 laptop (which ran on Win Vista) and installed all presently available Win 7 updates. After downloading all Win 10 installation files (Windows Tool) and installing those files, the E510 keeps starting up in Win 7.
Have I missed an essential step? Please, write your suggestions. Thank you in advance. Regards, Wladimiroff, Sweden.
