Question

Win 10 login changed

Apr 1, 2016 1:19AM PDT

When I update from 8.1 to 10, the Windows login first showed my name and then my email address below it and I was only person listed. About a week ago, the login shows the email address where my name was and the email address below it and there is a second person showing in the lower left corner. No name but my email address for it. Microsoft controls updates. Have run Malwarebytes with no problems found.
I'd like to repair and get on with using the laptop.

Thanks,
RONC

Answer
Have you try changing what is there?

Do this; CONTROL PANEL->ACCOUNTS...take a look there and see if anything you can change there. Good luck.

TRIED AND FAILED
Apr 1, 2016 4:03PM PDT

Went to accounts and I can't change anything and the second person does not show here.

Tried to change credentials and got this: Windows 10 Credential Manager Error 0x80070057. The Parameter Is Incorrect.

I suspect someone has played with the registry as this laptop is kind of communal PC but I'm the only admin. Or is that was? Tried changes suggested for error 0057 above and none work.

Where do I head now?

Thanks,
RONC

If it's registry, I'd reinstall Win 10.

Trying to track that down would be a headache. Have you a backup of your files?
