Win 10 Background Pictures SUDDENLY became too large

by al prazolam / October 5, 2017 10:27 AM PDT

Everything was working swell until (I am pretty sure) Microsoft gifted me with "Win 10, version 1703, Successfully installed on 9/30/2017".
Now all the (jpg) Background Pictures (and only the Background Pictures) have expanded so they overflow the screen. Everything else (icons, etc.) visually unchanged.

Any suggestions?

Clarification Request
This seems fixable.

Remember Microsoft's "tude" is that something like this that could be fixed by the user resizing or changing a setting to size to fit is not considered a bug. Yes it does annoy folk but we are talking Windows here.

I don't call folk any d or s words. It would be nice if such settings would stick over updates but some don't and this happens.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
