Question

Will this GPU fit my PC

May 20, 2019 5:18AM PDT

Hello,

I would like to purchase a GPU that will allow me to get started into PC gaming.
Will an asus 710-2-sl fit an Elitedesk 800 g3 sff?
I have purchased other graphics cards before and they have not fit.

I can't tell if what you bought were full height cards. This 710 looks to be the usual short height card for use in the small form factor machines.

Be aware this won't turn it into a gamer PC. It's very dated and of low performance.

I had previously purchased
GT730 PCI-E Low profile & GTX 660 SC

Would you reccommend any alternative GPU?
I had only intended to play cs:go and whatever avaliable, Budget of £40/50

I wonder.

Hi Proffitt, I hadn't thought of changing the bracket. removed the bracket and it now fits fine.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Why did these other cards not fit?

Tell what cpu you have.

With a 180w psu you will be limited on the gpu side.

And tell me if you knew to change the bracket. I've run into very new PC upgraders and that was all it was.
