Question

Will this card fit in my case

Hi all,

I have a hp pavilion p6-2300a: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c03527556-18

It currently has the 620 shown in the picture on that site installed, but I want to upgrade. I saw the the 620 is half height low profile. Does this mean that all low profile cards will fir in the case?

But it looks like the width of the bracket is double that of the 620 installed. Will it fit? I can add pictures of my brackets from the outside if needed.

It will require two bracket areas as is a normal thing.

No it has one full height bracket double wide.

Ask the seller if the card comes with an extra half height bracket.

Here the bracket height is a non-issue as we just head to the shop to bend this one, saw off the excess and drill two holes. We've made entire brackets and modified such when need be.

Low profile refers to the height of the card.

You could attach a full height or half height bracket to the card.

Looking at your link it looks like a full height bracket.

If the card comes with a spare half height bracket then your good to go.

Call the seller and ask.
