I recommend going to http://www.tomshardware.com and picking a known & tested configuration. Otherwise you're taking a shot in the dark.
Good luck.
So this summer I will be building myself a fairly cheap gaming rig. However, I wanted to make sure that these hardware parts work. So here is the list:
Motherboard: Asus P8-Z77-V (Socket 1155)
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K (Socket 1155)
GPU: EVGA NVidia GTX 650
RAM: Kingston 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM Memory
HDD: Current Laptop one enclosed in an adapter (2.5" to 3.5")
Case: CiT Vantage Midi Mesh Gaming Case with HD Audio, 4 Fans, Card Reader and No PSU - Black (ATX)
PSU: ACE 750W
I reckon these parts should work. But if any of you think that it could be better, can you please tell me how? Any help is much appreciated!
