But yes, it does wear the drive a little. Since you have to decide if it's worth the wear for any small gain, you decide.
And didn't you ask a lot of question about readyboost before?
I know writing hurts it to an extent but one of my computers is old and has a slow harddrive (6GB of ram though) and I want to decrease it's slowness and I am considering setting 6114MB of the flashdrive for readyboost, but I want to know if it is going to hurt it to a great degree.
