Will people with season pass itunes get refunds?

by nutjob / February 20, 2008 12:26 PM PST

A friend who got two season passes (Greys Anatomy, The Unit) and I are now wondering will he get a credit because neither show will do the 20-22 episodes expected.

Just wondering and know someone in buzz town will know.

I got the following e-mail today:

"As you may have heard, the Writers Guild of America, the union representing TV and movie writers, has settled its strike and its members have returned to work. Many shows have restarted production or will soon. While we don't yet know when there will be new episodes of your season pass for Ugly Betty, Season 2, we will send you an email alert as soon as you have a new episode available for download.

Thank you for being an iTunes Store customer."

No mention of a shorter season. Not really much of anything.

He is pretty bummed, because it looks like only 1-2 more epi of The Unit.

Neither Apple, nor the networks ever know how long a series will run. The pre-paid season pass is a pretty lame idea.

They should still allow you to sign up for a season, and then simply charge you as the shows become available. They could figure out the cost ahead of time making each sequential show you get for the season cheaper as they go. That way when the whole season is done, you would have only paid for the reduced season price. But if the season is cancelled or on hiatus, you would have only been charged for the shows available. This would be a much better way than charging in full for what may only amount to a few shows.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
