will non-bluray dvd players play bluray discs/

I want to get a 32 in hdtv with a dvd player built in and want to know if they will play bluray discs...

However many Bluray packages come with a Video DVD copy. look for those.

You need an Blu ray player to play Blu ray disc's

Blu ray discs store 5 to 10 time more data than DVD's. That's why the video quality is better on bluray. The higher resolution high definition blue ray movie takes up more space and won't fit on a regular DVD.
