Will my Dell Microsoft Office Activation Key work on my HP?

I just bought a new HP Pavillion dv6t, and did not buy Microsoft Office on it because my brother has an unused version of Microsoft Office that he will give to me. The only problem is the Microsoft Office that my brother has is from Dell. My new laptop has Windows Vista Home Premium SP-1 64 bit, and I am wondering wether or not the Dell activation key for Microsoft Office will work on my new HP?

If it does then the activation is broken.

Another answer is "Don't count on it."
