What comes home on the bottom of your shoes depends mostly on where you've been walking. ![]()
I've been browsing Yahoo! Answers lately (Computer and Internet catagory), and its obvious that most of the askers are adolescents. So aside from the multitude of questions about MySpace layouts and "I need a key for Vista, MS Office, or (insert other pirated software of choice here)", there are numerous questions about malware removal (not the best format for that IMO) and of course, LimeWire.
This one especially tickled me:
"i dont want to waste space on my family computer with limewire but will it totally kill my laptop with viruses and bad stuff?"
So apparently, getting malware on the family pc isn't the asker's chief concern, his laptop on the other hand...
Scary!
It becomes evident that more of these kids heard of LimeWire than Spybot or Ad-Aware. As I told my wife, I feel sorry for their parents!
