Question

Will an Antivirus work on Windows 10 PC?

Mar 22, 2018 10:38PM PDT

Yes, there is absolutely no room for doubt while you are considering about whether an antivirus will work effectively on your Windows 10 PC.  Well branded anti-viruses come with a high-end configuration that supports all Windows versions and supports Android devices too. The basic function of an antivirus centrally focuses on safeguarding your PC from all kinds of malware, virus and malicious cyber threats. Therefore, to cater productive antivirus protection to all devices,  the software has been designed for mainly Windows and Android operating systems.

Yes, but Windows 10 comes with good antivirus built in

While you can purchase additional security software, the built in Windows defender is pretty good - this is why wannacry did not affect Windows 10 PCs. Before purchasing additional software, look at actual test results, and also consider whether having a more secure router with network security might make more sense - securing your smart devices as well (TV, switches, smart speaker).
