No, just be sure the power supply is disconnected, the box is set on a clean surface, you are clean, it is grounded.
Open by removing cover panel
open ram clips
put ram in slot
Unless you are running a testing environment on a RISC processor, RAM "value" doesn't matter.
I recently upgraded my Mobo and processor and went for a value ram because i was tight on budget and i had to re-install My Vista 64bit and had to call Microsoft for re-activation.
Now i am gonna buy Corsair XMS2 4GB and i will be replacing my old RAM, so what i want to ask is that would i have to re-install the Vista again and have to do acitivation again?
Thanks for any response.
