Will a US HD-A3 or H2 Play HD Pal HD discs ?

by ofield / March 12, 2008 5:24 AM PDT

Hi,

I was wondering if the HD-A3 can play pal HD-DVD Disc's, and if not
is there any hack or firmware that will allow it do so.

If not are their any HD Players that will play both right out of the
box.

Thanks for the help. Pal has titles that US does not.

HD-DVD is officially a dead format, so you may want to hold off on buying a player.

I maybe wrong here, but...

my guess is that the issue has more to do with "region" then "pal". My thinking is that "pal" and "ntsc" has more to do with the old analog day. Just a guess.
