Will a camcoder be able to write a file from computer ?

I got this doubt when i saw DVD RW . It means that this type of camcoder will be able to read and write files into a DVD. So if i connect this camcoder to a computer , will it be possible to write a file or video onto the disc available in camcoder ??

So far, no camcorder offers this.

Is such possible, yes. Has any maker done this? Not yet.
