I also have Wild Tangent listed. What is it? I must have downloaded something and I guess it came with it.

I noticed the listing sometime ago. In reading the earlier post on Wild Tangent, I am thinking it is something I do not need/want. Correct?

So, I should also try to get rid of it?

I read other posts about Wild Tangent, and, followed instructions for removing it.

After removing, and restarting my computer, I went to C:\windows to delete all files in the wt folder.....there is no wt folder. I guess I should be OK?

I should have read the previous posts before asking for a soultion...Sorry

WT, more than likely came with a downloaded game of some sort. It could have been something else, but that's how I got mine. Its long gone now after a manual removal. A good way to tell if gone entirely is to check the control panel and see if the WT icon isn't present. A good source of info and instructions on removing such items is from using Bazooka pgm. It fairly quickly scans your system and if anything is found explains what it see and how to remove it if problematic. You can use Ad-Aware or Spybot v1.3 as well, google for these.

Willy, I checked the control panel, and the Wild Tangent icon is gone.

I will look at the link you provided.

Thanks for responding,

Hi, I have the Wild tangent web driver on my notebook. Some games such as 'Crystal maze' are distributed by Wild Tangent and the software does leak a bit of info about your configuration. Any spyware remover should pick it up but may also remove any games you have from Wild Tangent. In spyware terms it aint the worst. The web driver is an update facility which looks for newer software. Hope this helps.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
