Wiis bad *** will attract more customers

Alright, the wii is more creative and better gameplay.. Sure the xbox 360 and ps3 have better graphics, but the wii is only 2x the grpahics of a gamecube, and that's all it needs. Yeah i agree with some of the people. The controllers are tiring and are not capable of playing some games like football( madden 07). Another reason is that the price of the wii is attracted towards kids and teens, while the ps3 and xbox 360 are marketed towards older adults. What I really like about the Wii, is its new wireless internet and you are able to play old games from gamecube and etc. I was always a nintendo fan even when I was a kid.So, in my opinon get the wii. It'll save your wallet and you'll have a great time playing it.

I'm sick of people saying the wii-mote is tiring

I have played the wii and I can tell you that the wii controller is no more tiring than any other controller. seriously man, it's not an issue.

for the most part the wii-mote requires less arm movement than your average PC mouse or joystick.

for most games you'd probably spend more energy changing the disks on a wii than you would playing it.

i think its hilarious that people claim that moving their hands/arms a little is tiring.

no wonder most of this country is fat

Another perspective other than the Wii fanboys here...

I have heard from people that have played the Wii at kiosks that the Wii-mote is fun for a while but then you start wishing you had your dual analog stick controller back.

And from reviews of the first few Wii games, the Wii-mote is both good and bad. For that Monkey Ball game it is great, but for COD3 it is just not as good as the conventional controller. They say for long range shooting the Wii-mote is good since you can sight your targets with the mote and take them out, but for close quarter combat the controls are just clunky and you can't react as fast as with a dual stick controller.

Also, the reviewers have said that if you are used to high-end graphics from the 360 you WILL notice the graphics drop-off for the Wii and it will be annoying to some.

I still might buy a Wii since it is cheap, but I am not very excited about how other shooters will fair with the Wii-mote controller given how lackluster it is for COD3. Also, no multiplayer for COD3??? Why on earth would you release a COD game without online support?

The Wii hasn't been out that long, and people that play with it at a kiosk certainly have not had that much time to get used to it. As for reaction time you are still using the same hands that you would with the other kind of controller system. I don't think you can judge how well the system works until you have had time to get used to it. I'm a PC gamer mostly and the traditional PS controller is HORRIBLE for me. I want a mouse and keyboard. In fact the Nostromo controller for the PC was horrible for me at first, but now that I have gotten used to it I love it! Don't judge too quickly and especially by what others say.

Soon enough some one will make 3rd party accessories for it, and the design will get refined.
