Question

WiFi Won't Pick Up

Mar 31, 2015 8:05AM PDT

Our laptop will not pick up our modem. If I plug an Ethernet cable into the side, however, it will connect and run fine. But as soon as you unplug it the Wifi won't do anything.

The WiFi symbol has a yellow circle on it or something.

There's a function key or something with the wifi symbol, but I've done tried that and it doesn't work.

Laptop manufacturer? Server(ISP) and router/gateway being used? More information might help.....

Too little detail.

I've seen this for some hundred reasons. Keep telling more. Some machines just have failed wifi cards. Some are machines folk reinstalled other than the stock OS.
