WiFi signal amplification

Hi I have a Samsung J7 cell phone and I need to know if I can use a WiFi amplifier to increase the signal received from my neighbor. I don't have a WiFi connection home.

....know you are connecting to his/her WiFi signal? I think your neighbor would have to add a booster on his/her end. I don't think you can boost the signal from your location.
