1. The routers had out of date firmware.
2. The router setup was done by someone new. That is, I found a few setup with hidden SSID. As Willy says "that's a paddling." (that does drop!)
3. There is some interference in the area.
Hi i was previously using a d link dir 600m router with my fibre optic cable internet. It worked very fine for about 10 days. Then it started giving a problem. My phone or laptop would remain connected to the wifi but i couldnt access ny web pages. On the laptop it said no internet connectivity. This would be the case for atleast 20 min or until i restarted or rebooted the router. The frequency also of this happening would be some times after an hour of switching on the router or smtimes after 5 mins also. There was no particular pattern to it. Thinking my wifi was faulty i switched to binatone wr 1500N3. The problem still persists. I even complained to be service provider and they checked everything and said things r fine from their end. So now is it a coincidence i got two faulty routers or is there something im missing. I even changed positions of the routers to rule out interference
