This sounds like a defective product. Try another make, model but repeaters are pretty hit and miss. They either work or not. I prefer powerline networking or moving the WiFi spot closer to where it's needed.
Hi Guys
I don't know if you guys can help me I have an Huawei WS323 UK (3-in-1 Router/Repeater/Client) when it is in Repeater mode I have a problem it's working fine at first but when my Wifi is off on my iPhone, Tablet etc.. And then When I turn my wifi on it keeps saying obtaining IP address then it says connection failed it tries to connect to my router after sometime it's works but mostly it dosnt work I know wifi repeater amplifies Wi-Fi signal but can connect to the repeater it self if needed to but don't need to as I'm already connected to my router and repeater is Amplifying the signal while the wifi Repeater is on then what I do to resolve this I turn the wifi repeater on and off and that helps but I don't want to do that is there anyway I can fix this.
